Puppylove-Animal Assisted Therapy is a mobile service that will visit your location.

After the initial contact we would come and visit for an initial meet and greet and an assessment up to 45 min. (Please contact myself for further details and visit costs.)

The following sessions will then be tailored to your needs and wishes.

Please note, to ensure Koda’s wellbeing and welfare, we only work once a day for up to 4 days in one week.

Animal Assisted Activity

“Provides opportunities for motivational, educational and recreational  benefits to enhance quality of life.  AAA’s are delivered in a variety of environments. Interactions are spontaneous and there is no requirement to document or evaluate”

During these sessions, the clients will interact with Koda through games or treats as well as grooming and patting. Animal Assisted Activities are not considered a therapy, but they do provide many therapeutic benefits to individuals. Research studies have found , that through these interactions, levels of the stress-reducing hormone oxytocin increases.

Sessions educating about canine anatomy, body language and safety around dogs can also be included to give awareness in interacting with dogs in general.
